About CDI
Chiropractic Development International (CDI) is an industry leader in the
continuing professional development of chiropractors. CDI is a Registered
Training Organisation (RTO) that offers nationally accredited and
professionally recognised training for practising chiropractors.
CDI specialises in equipping chiropractors with the scientific knowledge,
communication skills and practical tools to powerfully position themselves
within the health care landscape. CDI's strength lies in helping chiropractors
develop the 'in practice' skills that are required to build a successful and
sustainable health care practice. CDI recognizes that the ability to
demonstrate these core clinical competencies is essential for emerging
accreditation requirements and is therefore central to the future of the
chiropractic profession.
CDI was formed in 2002 by the principals of Spine Partners Wahroonga, a
leading chiropractic practice on Sydney's North Shore with one of the highest
rates of medical referral and medical specialist collaboration in Australia.
Importantly, this was achieved whilst maintaining a strong professional
identity as chiropractors. The Directors of CDI also lecture in Neurology at
one of Australia's leading universities and are board certified/board eligible
in Neurology by the American Chiropractic Neurology Board.
CDI's headquarters is in Sydney, Australia and CDI currently delivers training
programs across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.
The spectrum of chiropractors that have participated in CDI's training programs
is diverse, both in terms of areas of specialisation and technique. At any
given time our enrolment includes chiropractors at all stages of their career -
from new graduates to chiropractors with over 30 years of practice experience.

Nationally Recognised Training
CDI's training programs have been specifically designed to equip chiropractors
with the knowledge and skills to actively engage the wider health care
community and take the lead role in their field of expertise. Therefore, CDI's
training programs and supporting resources have been aligned with nationally
recognised units of competency in clinical practice. At the same time, the
content has been uniquely contextualised to fulfil the needs of chiropractors
and powerfully enhance the skill set of this important clinical workforce.
Participants that complete the various competency units through CDI's training
programs are awarded nationally recognised Statements of Attainment under the
Australian Qualifications Framework. Whilst chiropractors are highly educated
to the postgraduate level, CDI is ideally positioned to 'parallel-skill'
chiropractors across a range of professional competencies that are contained
within the nationally endorsed Health Training Package.
Refer to CDI's Course Handbook for a list of the Nationally Recognised Training
components that CDI delivers.
